RebirthAuto Jaguar XK8 Battery Packs. Built for a 1997 model, but should fit a broad range of years.
Pack#1 fits in the rear seat area.
Pack#2 fits in the trunk, where the fuel tank resides.
Kit includes:
1. Insulators.
2. Copper buss set and interconnect.
3. All hardware required for assembly.
4. Mounting brackets.
5. 960 Headway cells.
6. Assembly Service.
7. Pack rough top balancing service.
The configuration is 10p96s (10x96 = 960cells) to be assembled with Headway 38120 type cells.
>Using Headway 38120S (10Ah Energy Cell):
Nominal Energy: (960cells x 3.2V x 10Ah) 30.7kWh
Nominal Peak power: (96 series x 3.2V x 1000A peak) 307kW (not considering voltage sag)
Cell weight: 960 x 330g = 317kg + 20% (est battery box system)= 380kg
Max cell charge to remain under 340V :3.54V
Pack voltage @ 3.75V/cell : 360V
