RebirthAuto VW Classic Beetle Battery Packs.
RebirthAuto Battery System for VW Beetle using 56 GBS 100Ah Lithium cells. This kit will enable you to install your battery pack like a Conversion Pro. It takes all of the guess work out of of the installation, and gives you safe, clean and simple results. Every cell pack is bolted down onto a sub plate!
Pack#1 fits on the rear package shelf.
Pack#2 fits in the trunk, where the fuel tank resides.
Kit includes:
56 - GBS 100Ah Cells
Cell mounting system
Cell interconnect. Purpose CNC cut copper buss system
Battery box covers. Finish in black carpet (as pictured)
All necessary Hardware.
Nominal Energy: (56 cells x 3.2V x 100Ah) 17.9 kWh
Nominal Peak power: (56 series x 3.2V x 300A peak) 53.7kW (not considering voltage sag)
Cell weight: 56 x 3.2kg = 179kg + 20% (est battery box system)= 215kg
Pack voltage @ 3.75V/cell : 210V
Nominal Pack Voltage @ 3.2V/cell: 179V
We specified this battery pack for a nominal range of 60 miles @ 80% Depth of Discharge. However some of our customers have reported up to 80 miles!
